Signs of High Blood Pressure

Symptoms of high blood pressure emergency may include:

  • Headache or blurred vision
  • Increasing confusion or level of consciousness
  • Seizure
  • Increasing chest pain
  • Increasing shortness of breath
  • Swelling or edema (fluid buildup in the tissues)

(High blood pressure  may not have any noticeable symptoms, get your blood pressure checked)

Signs of Diabetes

The five main warning signs of diabetes are:

1. Constantly being very hungry or thirsty.
2. Unexplainably losing a significant amount of weight.
3. Blurry or fuzzy vision.
4. Urinating more frequently than normal.
5. Having a tingling sensation in your feet, or feeling like your skin is very itchy and dry.

(A person may not have any noticeable symptoms. Get your blood sugar checked at least twice per year if you have a family history of diabetes.)
